Over the past few weeks, I've been reading about kale chips, and how people seem to rave about them. This craze, if you can call it one, intrigued me. So I looked up a recipe, bought some kale at the grocery store, and made some, fully expecting them to be as yummy as people made them out to be.
I was really enthusiastic about them when they came out of the oven. But, to my dismay, I found that I hated the stuff. Sure they come out crispy, but I found them very bitter, although I followed the recipe to the letter (which I usually never do). Plus, baked kale leaves a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. Not fun.
Let's just say that kale and I don't get along, and I won't be making them again.
